The Cigar Factories

Founded in 1882 by Alvaro Garcia and Jose Vega. Their company manufactured premium, hand rolled cigars. Currently, the brand is a US machine made cigar manufactured by Scandinavian Tobacco Group . The majority of these machine made cigars use a Dominican candela wrapper.

Cigar Brands: Austino, El Mas Noble, La Flor de Alvaro Garcia Longo, Garcia y Vega, La Rosa de Mayo, Duguesita, La Perla Espanola, Flor de Garcia y Vega and Flor de P.F. Carcaba.

Somewhere between 1969 and 1971, Frank llaneza and Tino Gonzalez moved Villazon from Ybor City to this factor which is located in West Tampa. It was vacant at the time and they used it to manufacture and store cigars.

Around 1999, The Oliva Tobacco Company moved into the vacant factory. They are a well known supplier of high quality tobacco to many major cigar manufacturers. They have been in this building ever since.
