A few weeks ago, my wife glanced at my ashtray containing several cigar butts and commented that I should get a roach clip so I could smoke my cigars further down. As usual, my wife was right, there are certain cigars that I would like to smoke to the nub and not burn my fingers.
I remembered seeing several Instagram posts of some very unique and attractive cigar “picks”. I went back to the ‘gram and found the manufacturer’s website. I preferred this product over my wife’s idea because I really didn’t want to look like I was smoking a “blunt” by using a roach clip.

The construction is excellent and made from quality materials. The stick is very sharp so don’t lose the protective end that is provided. I’m sure it will provide many years of service.

Aside from its looks, the most important function for me is how it performs. I picked out a cigar that I knew I would enjoy to the end and once I got as far down as I could without burning my fingers, I picked up my new toy and plunged it into the nub. The Cigar Dagger slid in easily and held the cigar nub firmly. It created a tight seal around the pierced leaf so the draw was not affected at all.
I was able to smoke my cigar to its last quarter inch with no issues and enjoyed every delicious puff. This product worked very well and I am very happy with my purchase. I know I’ll get a lot of use from it.
