The Blue Hawaii Tiki cocktail was created by Harry Yee in 1957 while he worked at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The recipe I’m using is a variation of Harry Yee’s that was created sometime in the 1980’s.
Blue Hawaii
- 2 oz. unsweetened pineapple juice
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 oz. simple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cream or half & half
- 1 1/2 oz. vodka
Shake well with plenty of crushed ice. Pour unstrained into a tall glass.
