Sweet Grass Gringo release announcement

Cigar News

Greenville based Stogie Road Cigars™ is proud to announce the release of the Sweet Grass Gringo. In collaboration with Tabacalera Kafie factory in Danli, Honduras, the Sweet Grass Gringo will be available in mid March.

The 6X52 barberpole-style toro will consist of a unique blend of an Ecuador
shade grown Connecticut and Nicaraguan Candela wrapper. The Honduran
binder is housing a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler. This is the first Connecticut/candela barber pole available.

“I fell in love after smoking the Fuente 8-5-8 candela. When Gaby and I were discussing what was next for Stogie Road Cigars™, I wanted to produce a unique barber-pole using candela. Not in the look, but in the flavor; the Sweet Grass Gringo delivers!”

Dr. Kafie stated, “Our goal at Tabacalera Kafie is to give each one of our
manufacturing partners their proprietary blends, which support and
represent their boutique cigar company is a truly special way. This blend
does exactly that”.

The journey continues down the Stogie Road. The Sweet Grass Gringo will be the second blend released by Stogie Road Cigars™ following the release of the Ediciòn XXXV in 2019.

Stogie Road Cigars™ is a supporter of boutique cigar brands and a proud
member of the Boutique Cigar Association.

The Sweet Grass Gringo will be the first release of sister blends using candela in a barber pole-style. All cigars will be produce in small batches and exclusively sold through brick and mortar establishments in the United States.
