The Donga Punch was created by Don The Beachcomber, somewhere around 1937. It’s a very simple 3 ingredient drink that is easy to make and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1½ oz Don’s mix
  • 1½ oz aged martinique rum
Steps

Put everything into a cocktail shaker half-filled with crushed ice. Shake well. Pour into a tall glass. If you need to, additional crushed ice can be used to fill.

As usual, I doubled it.

Tasting Notes

Cinnamon on the nose, lime and grapefruit are heavy on the palate and a bit of rum sweetness on the end. The Donga Punch is a great, refreshing drink.
